Detailed itinerary:

Berlin: The buzzing capital of Germany popular for its nightlife and captivating history once had a darker side. Experience the good and learn about the bad on a walking tour of the city and a visit to the Wall Museum. Then take in the surrounding lakes and landmarks on a cruise along the World Heritage Potsdam.

Nuremberg: This city's name has become synomymous with the aftermath that met the war criminals at the end of World War 2. However the city also has a certain charm you will get to experience with a local guide. A trip to Nuremberg wouldn't be complete without a tour of the World War 2 courtroom learning all about the trials that took place.

Munich: Best known for Oktoberfest, the city of Munich is Bavaria's biggest city bursting with character. You will be enlightened by Bavaria’s history, impressive architecture and local culture on a guided tour by a friendly local. This is before an enchanting visit to Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace which inspired fairytales, passing the spectacular Bavarian countryside en route. Your last day is a more sombre one with a day trip to Dachau concentration camp. This is the oldest of its kind in Germany and an insight into the darker side of recent history; a stark contrast to modern Germany.
